Barefoot Initiative is a not for profit, non-government organisation with no religious or political affiliations, focused on supporting locally led initiatives in the Afar region of Ethiopia through a strengths based and codesign approach, working alongside communities as they identify and prioritise their needs, ensuring community voices are central, empowered, and privileged throughout the process.
